Bio

Wenjia Zhu is a health economist at Mathematica Policy Research. The center of her work is utilizing data and economic tools to drive decision-making in health policy. Currently, she works on projects related to opioids, health insurance markets, and primary care transformation in the United States. Before joining Mathematica, she was a Marshall J. Seidman Fellow in the Department of Health Care Policy at Harvard Medical School and a 2016-2017 Health Economics Fellow of the Becker Friedman Institute at the University of Chicago. She has a Ph.D. in economics from Boston University, a master’s degree in economics from Duke University and a bachelor’s degree in mathematical economics from Fudan University.
