Sharon-Lise Normand, PhD, is a recipient of the 2009 Outstanding Publication Award from the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR). This award recognizes her collaborative work with Jose Suaya, William Stason, Phillip Ades, and Donald Shepard on promoting excellence in science and the practice of cardiopulmonary rehabilitation. This team of researchers published their paper, “Cardiac rehabilitation and survival in older coronary patients,” in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology in June 2009.
