HCP Professor Sharon-Lise Normand, PhD, a biostatistician, was recently elected the new president of the Eastern North American Region of the International Biometric Society (ENAR). She will assume this office on January 1, 2009. The International Biometric Society advances biological science through the development of quantitative theories and the application, development, and dissemination of effective mathematical and statistical techniques.
