web-based instructionÂ
Improvehealthcare.org is designed to be a comprehensive approach to educating physicians, medical students, and premedical students about health policy. It achieves its goal by providing information on key health policy issues through clinical cases as well as through briefings on selected current topics (e.g., avian flu). There are links within the cases to multiple other sources of information.
The program was started in 1993 by students at Harvard Medical School, including several from HCP; each year a new group of students takes over developmental activities. The program coordinates its briefings with the Tosteson lecture series.
